3 DAYS

Bwindi Safari Escape

Day 1 | Journey to Bwindi
After a quick briefing by your guide, set off on the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. Along the route, stop at a traditional drum-making community, where you can witness the local craftsmanship firsthand. Take a break at the Equator for some iconic photo opportunities and to browse through craft shops for souvenirs. Enjoy a hearty lunch in Mbarara town before resuming the scenic drive to Bwindi. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and unwind before dinner.
Day 2 | Gorilla Trekking Adventure
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing and group assignment before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek deep into the forest to observe these magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat as they feed, play, and go about their daily routines. This experience can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location and movements, and may involve trekking through steep, muddy terrain. After an unforgettable hour with the gorillas, return to the lodge to relax. If you wish, visit the Batwa community in the evening to learn about their culture and traditions. Enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at the lodge
Day 3 | Return to Kampala
Following breakfast, start your journey back to Kampala through Uganda’s beautiful rolling hills and lush landscapes. Stop in Mbarara for a relaxed lunch and make another stop at Mbambire to visit local drum makers and pick up unique souvenirs. Continue your drive, arriving in Kampala in the late afternoon. Your guide will then drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your Ugandan adventure.
